This small-group bus tour in Washington, DC shares stories that everyone from grandparents to grandchildren will enjoy, as well as visitors from other countries. During the course of the 7-hour tour, spend between 10-to-20 minutes at each location. After hearing some great American history, guides will help take photos, then allow for a few minutes of wandering, as desired.

At the following locations, the DC tour guide will share the stories of each of these American treasures: the US Capitol building, the White House, the National World War II Memorial, the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial, the Marine Corps War Memorial, the United States Air Force Memorial, and more.

Due to the nature of small groups, sometimes there will be a change to the itinerary based on the desires of the guests that day, especially if family, friends, or groups are the only ones touring. Depending on the group, lunch could also be different every day. Sometimes the group will stop at a restaurant for lunch, other times they will simply grab something and keep going. At times, the following locations may be included during the tour: US Capitol (inside the building), the Library of Congress, the Supreme Court, the White House Visitor Center, the National Building Museum, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Embassy Row, the National Cathedral, or some of the many great museums, especially if the weather is poor.

This was a great personal tour of DC. The small bus group made all the difference. We were able to ask questions of our fantastic driver and he even squeezed in an additional location for us. It was a busy day in DC with lots of honor flight groups (veterans) but our driver got us in and out of each location. As with all tours, please make sure you're on time getting back to the bus and remember to tip your driver at the end!

I booked this tour for my mother and I because she is 86 and uses a walker. The bus is small compared to the greyhounds, but it was the main reason why I chose it and to spend more money. My mother could see things even if it was too far for her to walk, (it is also the reason I take a lot of pictures). If she did get out to see a memorial even though she is not the fastest, everyone waited. We were given a time allotment, so the most anyone waited was 5 minutes. I took into account distance etc. Our driver was very knowledgeable, and I would not hesitate to book this tour again.

Our tour was on the Bipartisan Tours bus. Our guide was very knowledgeable of all the landmarks and memorials we visited. He was friendly, courteous and made our tour very interesting and unforgettable. The 15 passenger bus was comfortable and easy for seniors to get in and out. Because it was a small group we were able to cover more places and spend time taking pictures and stop long enough for us to have lunch. I highly recommend this tour.

I cannot say enough about this fabulous tour. Worth every penny and more. We had our own personal guide and really had a chance to learn and experience so much.
