Dace is knowledgeable, funny and a perfect guide. She used audio because in a a group of 15 everyone is not walking at same pace. Only issue for us was that she covered an extensive area and we are slow walkers, so couldn't keep up. Nevertheless, I would recommend this tour.
We took this tour with Dace Schaerf and it was excellent. Dace was both pleasant and extremely knowledgeable about both the history as well as the sites throughout the city. Very thorough tour, I highly recommend taking it.
This is a great tour to learn about the historic city, how it has changed over the centuries, how the palaces developed and so much more. Our guide Dace Scharf was excellent, answering so many questions about Austrian life, Vienna, places to eat etc. She also had some great stories. Definitely very worthwhile. The next day we went to a hidden treasure she recommended (the State Library) and it was superb.
Very good tour that provides a solid foundations for hundreds of years of the cities history. Informative guide.
This tour is a good introduction of Vienna but it certainly does not include other main attractions (schonbrunn palace, belvedere) and you will have to spend more time doing this on your own. Enjoyed it overall but wish I had known this before.
Our tour guild was fantastic. She gave details on the history of Vienna in a way that kept my husband and I along with our 13 year old son completely engaged. The tour was a great length and you got to see a lot of the historical buildings in the heart of Vienna. Our guild also gave extra information to some of the group on different things and places at the end of the tour. Fantastic tour that I highly recommend.
The guide was very informative and knew the information well. She was also very nice and friendly. I thought we were going to be walking around the ring road and we did not see the Volksgarden or any of the gardens. This is the part I was looking forward to the most. She gave us good history and showed us the outside of the most famous attractions- Albertina, St. Stevens, Imperial Palace, National Library. It was good to get oriented but it wasn’t what I expected
Very nice historical approach of Vienna with our guide who also shared anecdotes and 'hidden corners' in Vienna
Quite good. The lady showed and explained things quite well. It was quite interesting as we went through the modern history of the country
Very good tour, only 4 of us on a very snowy cold morning. Guide was extremely knowledgeable and gave us 2.5 hours of her time, although tour was officially only 2 hours long. Would use Viator again, as easy to book on line and impressed with quality of tour guide, also have been recommended Viator by friend who used them in Mexico and were very impressed
The tour guide kept asking me if I wanted to cancel because of the rain and because I was the only one on the tour. I didn't, so she seemed a bit disappointed during our time together.
We were a small group taken on the usual highlights with hidden delights we would otherwise not have known about! A great tour with a very knowledgable guide! Book this when you arrive to learn about Vienna...thanks for a great tour!
Despite a chilly, rainy day, Dace was an accommodating and informative guide! This is a great overview of the city and the history.
Our guide was very informative and gave everyone ample time to take in all the sites on the tour
