A propos de cette activités
Visiting the most recognized Cloud Forest in the world deserves an enriching experience in learning and enjoying the secrets of the forest. Explore the bio diversities of this area which are more than 130 species of mammals, 500 species of birds, 120 species of amphibians and reptiles for plant lovers. There are more than 3000 species of which 500 are different types of orchids, plus, thousands of insects.

The tour begins with an introductory video about the flora and fauna of the cloud forest, maintained by a walk inside the RBBNM guided by a professional for 2 ½ hours. One of the main attractions of the Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve is its network of 13 kilometers of trails. While walking the trails, visitors have a number of options to enjoy. One of the most emblematic alternatives is the hike to "La Ventana": a viewpoint where you can see beautiful views exposed naturally by the continental division, considered a geographical feature that runs

through the main mountain range of Costa Rica.

At "La Ventana", visitors can experience the strength of the trade winds charged with moisture coming from the Atlantic coast and watch it descend at great speed towards the Central Pacific and the coastal plains of Northern Costa Rica. They are also recommended to visit the hanging bridge "Wilford Guindon", where they will have the opportunity to appreciate a large number of epiphytes (bromeliads, orchids, ferns, mosses) and other forms of life that inhabit the typical treetops of

the area.
