This is an exciting, class 3-4 Costa Rica rafting river — You’re going to love this intense, Costa Rica adventure of the Costa Rican jungle! The Sarapiquí River is one of Costa Rica’s most-exuberant rivers for some of the best rafting Costa Rica has to offer!
It is near the Arenal Volcano, San Jose and Caribbean with more than 45 continuous, class-3-4 rapids along more than 14 miles of lush, vibrant Costa Rica rain forest.
The meeting point for this tour is the Sarapiqui Outdoor Center in La Virgen de Sarapiqui. After checking in, you will take a short van ride to the town of San Miguel de Sarapiqui, where the Class 3/4 section begins.
Once you get to the Sarapiquí River, your experienced and certified rafting guide will give you thorough safety instructions, get you set up with top-quality adventure gear such as your helmet, personal flotation device, and paddle and then you're off – you'll be paddling for more than 2 hours!
The highly qualified guides make a difference in this labyrinth of rocks, holes, and waves. Your guide will always be there to make you feel comfortable and safe during the trip with a professional attitude and willingness to help.
Bring on the adrenaline! Experienced and first-time whitewater rafters love the Sarapiqui River, class 3-4 whitewater rafting in Costa Rica. Make you way through exciting rapids like: Morning coffee, The terminator, and Dos locos.
The tour ends at our base, Sarapiqui Outdoor Center, where we have showers and changing rooms for your convenience. After the tour, enjoy a "fiesta, with fruits, yucca, and coconut cocktail. Plus, learn how to make sugar cane juice, and view the photos and videos from your tour.

This smaller, family-owned company was awesome! We were two families with a range of rafting experience and we decided to do the full day Class III/IV. David, Stanley, and Tonio (two of whom grew up on the Sarapiqui) were our guides and they were fantastic! i can't recommend them highly enough.
