Stop At: Teatro Nacional Costa Rica, Second Ave. and Fifth St., San Jose Costa Rica

We will meet in front of the National Theatre and, after sharing with you a bit of its history and beautiful architecture, we'll walk towards the Central Market as we travel back in time to talk about the old markets and what did commerce look like in downtown before the Central Market was built in 1880.

Once inside your guide will show you the best things to see and taste. From local fruits, to freshly roasted coffee and the best of the traditional costa rican cuisine.

Amazing way to learn about and experience the culture of San Jose. The market we visited was truly the heart of the capital so it felt like it really captured the spirit of what the capital is. The food samples were great, we were able to try coffee, tortillas, and ice cream. Also a great way to shop like a local. Tour guide was spirited and passionate it was a very good package.
