A propos de cette activités
Disembark from your ship and meet your driver in the port of Civitavecchia at 9:00 am to drive to Rome.
The first stop is in front of St. Peter's Basilica, where you can admire the beauty of this center of world Catholicism. Traveling along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, named in honor of the last king of Italy, you will reach Piazza Navona (the former Stadium of Domitian). There, in addition to enjoying works of art by Bernini and Borromini, you can sample local specialties in the many bars and restaurants on the square.
Visit the Pantheon and then continue on to the Colosseum, where you'll go back in time walking towards the Arch of Constantine and Roman Forum.
From there the tour will go up on one of the seven hills where Rome was colonized (the Aventino hill) for a short stop in one of the most atmospheric parts of the city. Next, you'll go to the church of Santa Maria in Cosmedin, where you can see the famous Mouth of Truth. Moving on to Piazza Venezia, you can reach Piazza Colonna to see the column of Marco Aurelio. Sample delicious Italian gelato. Stop at the Trevi Fountain, where, of course, you can throw coins into the water as a good omen to return to Rome.
Moving next to Piazza di Spagna to see the famous Spanish Steps, you'll then travel to the final stop on the tour in Piazza del Popolo before being returned to Civitavecchia around 2:00-2:30 pm.
Please note: Guided tours inside St. Peter's Basilica and the Colosseum are not included.
Worry-free Shore Excursion:
We will ensure your timely return to the Civitavecchia port for this activity. In the rare event your ship has departed, we will arrange for transportation to the next port-of-call. If your ship is delayed and you are unable to attend this activity, your money will be refunded. See our terms and conditions for full details.

The van was waiting for us at the Pier. The driver spoke a basic english and no spanish at all. On arrival to Rome the driver wanted more money if we excedeed the four hours of the tour!! ... I explained that we hired and payed a full day 7 hours excursion. After discussions and call to his boss he respected the full day. In the way back to Civittavechia he drove over the speedlimits and didn't respect a stop sign.
Your driver did not speak very much English. You lied to me and told me we would have an English speaking driver.
