Domitilla's catacombs are one of the most extensive catacombs in Rome, they are spread over 17 kilometers of underground caves, some of which are inaccessible, and they are situated over 16 meters underground. Some Christians have built these catacombs in the Ardeatina's area after Domitilla had been banished in the III century. There are about 150000 burials, some of them are decorated.

The Catacomb of Priscilla are an archaeological site on the Via Salaria in Rome, Italy, situated in what was a quarry in Roman times. This quarry was used for Christian burials from the late 2nd century through the 4th century. This catacomb, according to tradition, is named after the wife of the Consul Manius Acilius Glabrio; he is said to have become a Christian and was killed on the orders of Domitian. Some of the walls and ceilings display fine decorations illustrating Biblical scenes.

The catacombs of St. Callixtus are among the greatest and most important of Rome. They originated about the middle of the second century and are part of a cemeterial complex which occupies an area of 90 acres, with a network of galleries about 12 miles long, in four levels, more than twenty meters deep. In it were buried tens of martyrs, 16 popes and very many Christians. You will also admire the Crypt of St. Cecilia: the popular patron saint of music, she was martyred and entombed where the statue now lies.
