I wish that food was not included so you could choose when to eat and that would give more time for exploring Capri. We had a great trip up until when we where back in Rome. If you are planing to drop people off at their hotels then at least drop off the people who have to go home by themselves first at the bus station. 14 august we went on a trip and on our way back I requested because others was getting the chance to be drop off near by their hotel, if it was possible we could too. I was told that if the bus drove near the hotel they would. The bus drove past it and when I asked I was told they could not stop there. I do understand that. Because before I was able to reach the guide who promised to drop us near by, we where on a road where it was not possible to stop. Wish the guide would have been honest and just told me that she forgot instead she said she had a list to follow. If that really the case then my complain is that why should we sit in a but in over an hour while the bus is driving to 5+6 different hotels and some pretty far away. Why where we, as it seem like it was only us that were not dropped off first at the bus station. The explanation I got from the guide was that they took another route home. I do not really care. Th description clearly says you will be dropped off at the station. So letting us sit in the bus for more than one hour and be almost last one drop off at a taxi stand, was bad planing. If I had not said anything, we would have been sitting in the bus for half an hour more.

Day trip to Capri was well organized and a fun trip, highly recommended. Our favorite part of the trip was the a boat ride tour around the island that gave us memorable view of the entire island.

it was a great trip the food was 7/10 althoughyou pay for drinks. if you want to be an organized traveller then book a bus from rome to naples 15 euros then buy a ticket to capri 10-18euros depends on the season it might bw cheaper. if you’re not an organized traveller book this its less of a hassle. now when you book its you and your luck with the weather if the weather is bad on the day of your trip you’re not in luck and you cannot do anything

Going to Capri and seeing the Blue Grotto has been on bucket list for years! On this trip to Rome I knew it would be the perfect day trip to enjoy with my 18-year old son. Our guide was absolutely wonderful! The additional Japanese guide was a little intense at times, but the trip was more than amazing. The weather was perfect and ideal to visit the grotto. We arrived from Naples after an easy 50 minute boat ride and immediately went to wait for our boat to the blue grotto. This was a beautiful and scenic ride! Once we arrived we had a bit of a long wait to get into the smaller boats - about 2 hours - but that is what you can expect during the summer busy season so just be prepared. It is more breathtakingly exquisite that you can imagine and the echoing of the boat gentleman serenading in the cave is definitely worth capturing on video! The lunch was very nice in Anacapri - I did enjoy my Limoncello cocktail! I only wish we had a little more time to explore in Anacapri, but we did have about 30 minutes to walk and shop around down in Capri before heading back to the boat to Naples. Definitely a must tour in my book if you only have a day to visit Capri!!

The tour company picked us up at our hotel, which made it easy to get to the bus that was taking us to Naples and then Capri. The tour quide on the bus was extremely knowledgeable and kept us informed on where we were on out trip and the history or sites we were passing. We stopped going and coming for a break on this 2-1/2 bus ride. When we got to Naples we were escorted to the docks to catch a boat to Capri. Getting to Capri we split up depending on what we wanted to do and met later for lunch at the top of a hill with a view of the island. Lunch was incredible with excellent service and great choice of food. I took a sky ride up to the top of the mountain which was spectacular. After a free hour after lunch to shop we went back down to the docks, boarded a boat to Naples and then a bus back to Rome. It was a long day but we were entertained the entire trip. The bus crew was nice enough to ride around central Rome and dropped most of us at or close to our hotel which saved up a cab ride back. Great tour, well organized and great guides.

Capri is beautiful. Luch inklusive is a flop. They say you must pay only the drinks. We payed 35 Euro for a big Water and two Sprizz. No Bill/invoice. Food isn't good. We were forced to eat there.

Although the guide was excellent and very amiable what was supposed to be 13 hours became 15 hours which made the trip an endurance rather than enjoyment. Capri and Anacapri were worth seeing

Our 7;10AM pick-up at our hotel was right on time, and the ride to Naples, although long, was comfortable. It included a rest stop for food and restrooms. There wasn't a lot of narration along the way, but enough to get a sense for the countryside. Capri provided some great views, especially from the top of the gondola ride, and also some nifty and exciting driving from the local bus drivers. Lunch was good although kind of hectic The Blue Grotto was closed which disappointed some, but the single chair gondola ride did provide for some excitement. The ride back was long with, in my opinion, a needless stop which got us back to the hotel at 9:30PM.

This day trip made my girlfriend cry tears of joy. That alone is worth 5 Stars!

Hello. Just wanted to say that this was my first time in Italy and this trip was disappointing in several ways. Not sure why some people gave it five stars. The free lunch was horrible and definitely not worth the money. The service at the restaurant along with the food was poor. Also there was very little time spent on the island before turning right back around and returning from the trip. Boat ride around the island which was an additional fee was the highlight of the trip and was not even included. Seems like most of the money goes towards the transportation.

We have traveled all over the world and used Viator as a platform. They are not the tour company. This is just a booking. The other trips while in Rome were amazing to Tuscany etc. However, this for 345 US was the worst day I have ever spent. The guide was a lovely w an Italian company. You take a bus drive for hours stop at a local convenience type store get to Naples and board a common boat that was packed. Get to the port in Capri which is a pretty seaside fishing town. Can either buy another ticket 30 Euros each to Blue Grotto, lift ride at top extra, boat ride extra or you sit an shop. The meal was terrible and I hate reviewing like this. The seafood gritty and we could not eat it, salad okay, and had to purchase drinks. So, basically the 343 was to get you there w/some interesting facts from our lovely guide. We stopped on the way back in a convenience type store that I am sure she gets a commission on. That is fine, but all very common. Of all of our tours this was a terrible day spend. Money is no object...it was just terrible day. You either shop or add on the extras. Quite frankly Blue Grotto looked lovely but should have been included or you do nothing but shop in mostly inexpensive tourist shops. I would never recommend this trip instead book day to Tuscany lunch at the Villa. OUTSTANDING!

This is the 2nd time I've been on this trip and the 2nd time was much better! It does make for a long day but you know that from the beginning. Weather was perfect, and we were able to do our own thing if we didn't like the activity options that were given to us. Would take this trip again.
