Our driver was amazing. His English was excellent and he was very knowledgable regarding Douro Valley. One of the people in our group didn't drink alcohol and all, but still had a wonderful time. The scenery was probably the most beautiful scenery, for us, that we saw the entire trip to Portugal.

Pedro took our small group on this tour. He was helpful and accommodating. He is an ideal guide for English speaking folks. He made sure we saw all the sights and thoroughly explained things to us. He picked the best place ever for our group to stop for lunch, too.

Joao picked us up at our hotel as planned. As it turned out, we were the only couple in the group which made it nice for us. Joao was very enthusiastic and informative, and he has a great love for Porto and the area. We drove to the Douro Valley and stopped at a small privately owned winery for a tour and a tasting. What a nice experience! We visited Pinhao, took a boat ride, had lunch, learned about the history and struggles of the Port trade and enjoyed the magnificent scenery! Our last visit was to Croft's, where we enjoyed another tasting. This was a day to remember! Joao did a wonderful job in providing us with the best wine tasting experience. Thank you!
