Au cours de cette excursion, vous aurez l'occasion de découvrir des paysages uniques et de visiter le monastère de S.Gonçalo sur les rives du fleuve à Amarante ainsi que le sanctuaire de Notre-Dame du Remédios à Lamego.
Tout au long de la journée, plusieurs arrêts seront effectués pour vous permettre de profiter du magnifique paysage, et apprécier un déjeuner avec vue magnifique sur le fleuve Douro. Vous apprécierez également une dégustation du plus célèbre vin portugais : le vin de Porto, originaire de cette région.

The Douro Valley is a must see if going to Porto. And it is beautiful. I had an excellent guide who took us to some really interesting places--towns, wineries, scenic lookouts. This was a very good tour.

Excellent tour, our tour guide Joanna was very knowledgeable and was very attentive to the group. The scenery was gorgeous. Only down side was insufficient breaks at overlooks to get some beautiful shots of the scenery. Port wine tasting was delicious. Would highly recommend. Great way to see the Douro valley.

The tour overall was just OK. The guide was professional but very perfunctory. It kind of feel like she was just doing a job. The lunch included was very good and we got to try some local food. The rest of the tour was a combination of some free time exploring the churches/town we stopped at and going to local wineries for tastings. The information said we can sample local products, which from recollection was just some cheese bits and dried meat and biscuits. There were no explanation given of the products. Overall, it was an average tour - not really good but not really bad.

A lovely day, which for people who don't normally enjoy coach or minibus trips, was a real treat. Our guide Sophia, was charming, attentive and informative, and we had a real insight into the wonderful scenery of the Douro Valley. Ken and Chris Brown

Luxury coach turned to be a luxury min van .Wine tasting was only Two Wines !! Scenery was brilliant and the the guide very knowledgeable. Moral of the story do not believe what you rend on the tour description. !
