Where do we even begin? First things first—you did not have a true Northern Portugal experience if you did not visit the Douro Valley, and furthermore, a Douro Valley trip is only worth doing if it is with Pedro. The day was perfect, from start to finish! Pedro’s kind, welcoming, and professional spirit was incomparable. He is both passionate and knowledgeable about his country and this region of Portugal. We had such a lovely day with Pedro, from fun banter to getting to know him and his life in such a wonderful country, to learning about wine and the people who make it. We cannot recommend this tour enough (and we had wished we had the chance to go on another tour with him during our visit!). If you are on the fence as to whether or not you should book this tour—do it, you won’t regret it; it was easily one of, if not THE highlight of our trip. The Mateus Palace was beautiful, all the wine was delicious, the food was great, and Pedro showed us all the views of the valley! Every moment throughout the day was a moment we will treasure. Thank you Pedro!!! #Pedro_Moments #NorthOnWheels We miss you already - Erin and Jacob
