Boqueron River Rafting

The Boqueron river was pioneered for rafting/kayaking by Adventures Panama in January 1998. The river is classified as Class II . There are rapids to have fun with all the family The main economic activities that surrounds the area are: gold panning, cattle farms, subsistance agriculture, forestry, and banana plantations. On our way down to the river, we will get the chance to go through Madden Dam. Madden Lake, the result of this hold has a perimeter of 189 miles and its contents is 22 trillion cubic feet of water flowing from the river Chagres. This dam was completed on February 5, 1935, five months before the date stipulated in the contract and came to represent a new triumph of American engineering in the history of the Panama Canal. Our guides are trained in white-water navigation skills, first-aid, and CPR.
