Voici l'itinéraire :

7:00 - Départ de Nairobi et début de trajet jusqu'au Naivasha, brève escale au point de vue dans la vallée du Grand Rift.

Arrivée aux Portes de l'Enfer aux alentours de 9:00. Début de l'excursion en vélo aux portes de l'enfer pour 2 heures

11:00 - Visitez les gorges à l'intérieur du parc. Les gorges sont de fines dépressions naturelles de la masse terrestre où vous pourrez vous promener en dessous. Certaines zones ont des grottes qui ont été formées où vous pouvez les traverser. Ceci prendra 1 heure.

13:00 - Fin des visites et retour en vélo aux portes.

13:00 - Rendez-vous au campement de pêcheurs de Naivasha pour le déjeuner.

14:00 - 1 heure de promenade en bateau sur le lac pour observer les oiseaux et les hippopotames.

16:00 - Fin de toutes les activités et début du trajet de retour vers Nairobi.

Amazing day cycling to the gorge. Animals grazing beside the road as you cycle and eagles soaring above. The gorge was stunning but quite a tough trek. Make sure to take water to drink. My guide Peter Ravin was very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend this.

Really very fun! Beautiful park and lake. Guides were all very well informed. Places for lunch were a bit overpriced but not very much choice in that I suppose. We were a little bit rushed at the end, but overall an excellent experience.

Great tour, would really recommend for those looking for a good day trip! Local guide in Hells Gate was excellent, and went out of his way to make sure I had a good time. Lake Naivasha is gorgeous, but the boat tour was somewhat robotic and touristy as an alternative, would highly recommend walking through the Crescent Island game sanctuary where you can often see the hippos and other wildlife at your own pace.

This tour was led by Paul from Perfect Wilderness Tours and Safaris. Paul was very informative and chatty, and had loads of excellent insight regarding tourism in Kenya. He was immediately accommodating when I asked if I could stay in the car instead of ride the bicycles because my primary interest is birds, and cycling with my camera can be quite difficult. Paul also arranged a separate Masai guide who knows more about birds than he did, so that my experience would be top-notch. The drive through Hell's Gate was excellent, and the hike in the gorge was also a highlight. My only small criticism is that I was not expecting to have to pay more than 20 for the optional boat ride on Lake Naivasha as a solo passenger. Overall excellent tour, and I was very pleased that skipping the bicycles was a viable option.

We had an excellent experience with our tour. We booked very last minute, about 24 hours before departure. Perfect Wilderness Tours and Safaris was the operator. They quickly contacted us to confirm details, and collected us promptly from our Nairobi hotel. It was only my wife and I - so no large group at all. Smooth transport there and back, excellent Masai guide Brian for the chilled bike ride and short hike through the national park. Lunch and optional boat ride at Naivasha - I recommend taking the boat ride - about 1 hour, very relaxed, lots of hippos and birds. Would recommend this to anyone who wants an easy day trip from Nairobi, limited time to research, with a professional operator, and see a national park and ride through it rather than just sitting in a safari truck. Highly recommended.
