Stop At: Neuschwanstein Castle, Neuschwansteinstraße 20, 87645 Schwangau, Germany

Your private guide picks you up at your hotel in Munich and we drive to Hohenschwangau village. First, we take the shuttle to Mary’s Bridge (Marienbrücke) for some amazing pictures, then we walk to Neuschwanstein (the fairytale castle) with a tour inside. You will know more about the Swan King (Ludwig II) king of Bavaria (1864-1886). And the history of Neuschwanstein Castle (was built 1869-1886).

Stop At: Oberammergauer Passionstheater, Theaterstraße 16, 82487 Oberammergau, Germany

We drive to the picturesque village of Oberammergau, where is the original Passion Play started in 1634 period. This little historic village is famous for wood carving and for many House paintings and more. Free time to grab some lunch and shopping.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Linderhof Palace, Linderhof 12, 82488 Ettal, Germany

Our next stop is Linderhof Palace. Where Ludwig II lived for more than 8 years, with time to explore the formal gardens, Moorish Kiosk and the famous Venus Grotto (at the moment the Grotto is closed for maintenance works until 2022). Afterward, we drive back to your hotel.

Jan was a wonderful guide on this trip. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the region and King Ludwig II. There was a lot to see and do and he made it as easy and comfortable as possible. Every part of the trip was effortless and went smoothly. Jan made sure we had our tickets ready to go for all sites. He was very attentive to my parents, as they are in their 70's and this is a very physically exhausting trip during a summer heat wave. We had an excellent experience.

The title says it all but I’d be doing an injustice if I didn’t mention how incredible our tour was from start to finish. Amir was knowledable and tended to my parents every need. Couldn’t have asked for a better tour or guide. Highly recommend!

Special Private Tours was amazing from the start. We booked our trip Amir which was very quick to answer. In our case, my husband and I were traveling with a 1 year old. This tour was PERFECT because it allowed us to go to our own pace without the fear of being left behind. Our personal tour guide was Monika and she was fantastic. So knowledgeable and very kind. The trip on the road in Munich, Germany. On the side of the road so we could jump out and take a picture. We thank both Amir and Monika for a very memorable and safe experience. Should we again, we will definitely use this tour again.
