The Ancient and Noble Art of Metal will bring you in the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum to admire with a guided visit the metal art object collections that dominate the rooms. Then we will continue the guided visit to discover the fascinating atelier of a Milanese metal sculptor who works in a unique environment within an eye-drop factory from the 1930s.

Come and discover how a Milanese metal sculptor translates the ancient art of forging metal into the contemporary times with state-of-the-art techniques. Thanks to the relentless experimentation on materials and to research, visitors are invited to discover artefacts that conceal, under the gravitas of their iron surface, a soul as light as graphite powder.

An ancient and noble art is part of Milano Grand Tour, a set of itineraries dedicated to the excellence of Arts and Crafts in Milan, organized in collaboration with Cologni Foundation for the Métiers d'Art.

The guided visit will starts at 2:30pm from the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum (Via Gesù, 5 Milano). Admission ticket included. Transfer with private transport from the museum to the atelier included.
