One day overview of Milan was excellent. Guide was competent and kept us moving. Great way to see the highlights of Milan in one day. Must be prepared to take taxi from hotel to start point and return on your own. Could not have done this on our own.
Easy to find the tour team who were friendly and patient answering questions. Tour guide easy to listen to, went at a comfortable pace, very interesting topics and knowledgeable. Well worth doing.
The Last Supper is a must see in Milan. The rest of the tour is a overview of Milan during the last 2000 years
This was a fantastic tour, worth every penny. Charles was amazing, the best Viator guide I have ever had worldwide.. I highly recommend the tour as long as you are able to walk a bit.
We bought tickets for this tour to be able to see the Last Supper But we were given a wonderful tour of historic Milan including Duomo, Sforza Castle, La Scala etc. It did not include entrance to the Duomo rooftop which was disappointing However the trip was otherwise very well planned, our guide Christiano was an art history major explained everything with a lot of details and enthusiasm and patience Walking for 5 hrs in summer heat was little painful but Christiano kept us entertained with his story Definitely worth the time and money!
Our tour guide was awesome. She made us appreciate all that Milan had to offer. Thx Christine. Luv the Bader’s
Duomo and the last supper. Excellent tour with Chrisrina our guide. Very knowledgable and loves her history . Fully recommended.
Great tour and Serena was by far my favorite tour guide in all of Italy. Actually spoiled us in terms of what we expected from all tour guides. Website slightly unclear as it says the last supper painting was unavailable but Serena was still accommodating and so helpful. Thank you so much. Amazing is all I can say and it’s not enough.
We enjoyed the tour of Milan with our tour guide Chaira. Milan was our first stop of Italy tour, and she made it memorable, thanks!
Charles (his middle name) was an amazing guide! He provided great insight into the sights, especially the Last Supper, but also the history of the artists, churches and other things of interest around our walk. Great tour, don't miss this one!
Lara was an amazing tour guide. It felt like having a friend showing you around town, hanging out together. She was very knowledgeable about the places and shared many cool facts. It was a perfect end to my Milan stay.
Charles was a humorous informative guide with good skills and back stories about the attractions. He’s patient and enthusiastic about responding to questions and the needs of the guests. Recommended!
Our guide Christina did an absolutely great job introducing us to Milan and its rich history. Who knew? She knew background details about everywhere we went. She also showed us a couple of well hidden gems that are not in anyone’s tour guide literature. A truly delightful day and worth every penny (euro). Our tour was in late May 2019.
My wife and I went on this tour recently and felt it was a decent itinerary that could have been better executed. The destinations included interesting sites like the Duomo, the Last Supper and a number of interesting cathedrals, amongst other things. Unfortunately the Duomo was the last stop and we felt it would’ve been better to have this earlier on in the tour as everyone was too tired to take it in by the time we got there. The guide never checked group numbers (to make sure everyone was present) before moving on and just seemed a bit impatient at times. There was no information given about bathrooms, sites to refill water bottles, etc.; these were features of a number of other tours we booked on Viator.
Tour guide was kind, energetic and was great at her job. The tour lasted a very long time, lots of walking!!!! The Duomo was beautiful but this booking did a very poor job in the description - Monday, The Last Supper IS CLOSED...please be aware of this if you are considering this booking. Many were upset that the description is not more forthright...
This comprehensive walking tour unveiled the hidden treasures of Milan. Our tour guide Chiara was knowledgeable, funny and so proud of her native city. Seeing the unknown gems and the incredible Last Supper up close and in a very small group cannot be beat.
This is a very nice walking tour that includes the beautiful Duomo (cathedral) and the Last Supper. It is long and it can be tiring. A few people stopped about an hour before the tour ended (I believe it's 6 hours) but this is a great tour!
The tour was fantastic. However Viator failed to tell the tour operator that my reservation was changed from June 21 to June 20 BR-699819166. I was lucky that they let me join the tour on Thursday but then on Friday my husband in Canada was phoned at 2 am asking why I missed the tour. Not a good performance on Viator's part!
This was great trip. Our tour guide Henri Charles was informative, friendly and fun. I Appreciated the tour.
Had the best tour of Milan with Chiara. She was as lovely as her hometown. She showed us nearly everything there was to see! Very proud and knowledgeable.
Very enjoyable and interesting walking tour was made so good by our Guide on the day. Duomo and Last Supper were standouts but I found the Chiesa di Santa Maria presso San Satiro to be an unexpected favourite. Some people struggled with the 5 hours of walking but in my opinion this tour wasn't one where you should try out your new designer boots unless you're ok with blisters. Pace of tour was perfect, Guide outstanding, knowledgeable but very flexible and read the needs of his group well.
The tour was great and our guide Antionella was very informed and knowledgeable. If you do this tour and you have a choice in guides, pick her....
My wife and I have been on several tours, but this one was one of the best tours by far. Ludovic Charles, was very informative, witty and insightful. We had such a good time that we were debating whether to repeat this tour when we come back in October. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that doesn’t mind walking. Thank you Ludovic for such a memorable time!! -Chris and Mary
Meeting place readily located; tour guide "Ana" spoke slowly/clearly in English, was friendly, knowledgeable and organized. We were a group of ~20 people.Ana did NOT carry a sign, flag, or anything for us to easily spot/find her. Our first point of interest was the castle (Sforzesca). As we emerged from the castle, she pointed out a large fountain and told us we should take a picture of it. We did that--and promptly lost Ana. We could hear her, but despite searching frantically through the crowds (there were MANY groups of tourists) all around the fountain as well as the exit area of the castle, we could not find her. We heard her say "let's wait for a few people..." but she never described where she was or any landmarks to help us locate her. After a while, her voice went static and then faded out. We asked several people to call the number on our voucher--the people who spoke English could not understand the outgoing message (in Italian--nor could we), and the three different Milan Police officers we approached said they "do not have phones." (seriously!?!)Then we we heard Ana's voice on our devices and thought she must be nearby, but it was another guide--she and her group were on the same frequency. False hope!At the outset, Ana had mentioned the places on our itinerary, and we remembered that Duomo Square was on the list, and the Last Supper would be our "last" stop. We could see Duomo Square in the distance, so we walked over. The Square was packed with people. We spotted a Police officer who was talking on a cell phone. Thankfully,THIS officer was friendly and willing to help us. He called the tour office, gave our names, Ana's name, our tour name, and where we were. After some Italian back-and-forth, he told us Ana now knew where we were and would come to find us. We just had to wait there. Whew! Sure enough, 30 minutes later, we heard Ana's voice on our devices, then we saw her approach. She did not seem to take losing us very seriously, making light of our reaching Duomo Square ahead of the group. Re the places we'd missed (Teatro La Scala, and 2-3 other places), she just shrugged ("oh well--too bad!") Throughout the rest of the tour, as we moved from place to place, even boarding buses en masse, we noticed Ana never stopped to count heads.Enjoyed (what we got of) the tour, but deemed Ana's failure to keep tabs on us less than professional. After Last Supper, we were on our own to find our way back!
Charles was a knowledgeable and thorough guide. He was accommodating and made certain all questions were answered. He also payed attention to special needs and was flexible with circumstances. Many thanks for his time and support . Christine
Excellent tour guide who had to adjust to many scheduling factors. She was so informative and interesting. She's a real keeper.
I really enjoyed the walking tour of Milan, Christina was the perfect guide, very personable and knowledgeable. Seeing the Last Supper was of course the highlight of the day. I don’t often do group tours but this one was quite enjoyable.
Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to learn a great deal of fun facts about Milano's rich history and culture. It is a great way to spend a day in Milano!
The walking tour was comprehensive and enjoyable. Cheisana was on time and an outstanding guide. She was extremely knowledgeable, funny and gave us not only the details of all the stops but added the cultural insight in a funny and honest way. She loved her city of Milan which was obvious in her enthusiasm. Would ask for her in heart beat the next time.
