The tour was ok. The only thing I didn't like was there were so many people in the tour. And because of it, the listening device was not working and was hard to understand the tour guide. Each tour should be limited to just 20 or maximum 25. But 40 is too much. He did point us the villas owned by Richard Branson, George Clooney and some other tips when we were in Bellagio. Province of Como was too quick and did not have a chance to see some other historic sites. I recommend this only if the no of people will be limited to 20.
we were fortunate that weather was perfect for the activity. como, bellagio and the lake were all worthwhile. tour guide provided good info but depth was not nearly that experienced on other tours. partly due to the need to repeat everything in portuguese and english. returned to milan by 6:30pm, 1 hour later than advertised.
It was a lovely tour , Como and Bellagio are so beautiful !! The boat tour was awesome with stunning views of the mountains and beautiful villas along Como Lake. Tour guide Stefana is awesome too! Overall I'm completely satistied.....
This tour was fantastic. From the time we left the Visitor Centre in Milan, the bus ride to Como and the breathtaking views on the lake, everything was well handled. The tour guides (Stefano, etc) where amazing. Bellagio was lovely and it was nice to walk up and down the steep stairs to do some shopping. We had lunch at Carrillon in Bellagio at it was yummy.
Beautiful towns and spectacular views. The lake, the mountains and villages are a must see. The tour guide provides constant commentary and advice on what to see, do and eat in your free time. Amazing!
Sound system did not work. Guide was new and inexperienced. Had to pick up people a different points. Too many people to handle.
I booked this tour due to the relatively high number of positive reviews. While the itinerary was as expected in terms of the places visited, the primary reason for the low rating is because the device that was used to provide the audio for the guided tour did not work through most of the trip. The device worked during the initial testing on the bus but once we got off the bus, they divided us into 2 groups and we were put in the wrong group. Then on the device stopped working once we got on the cruise. I wish I could get a credit or something back since the tour was basically useless without the audio. I could have gone on this trip myself for a lot less money but I wanted to learn something about Lake Como and Bellagio. I can’t even rate the tour guides, Claudia and Daniella because the audio didn’t work. Very disappointing.
The trip was fine and both Lake Como and Bellaggio are beautiful. The bus driver and guide were great, however the Milan office of Viator was awful, the would not let us use the restroom when the tour guide said we could and my husband was ill. They are very unprofessional and rude.
The tour was excellent and the guides were very good they certainly new had to look after their customers. I say Bravo
The tour was well organized. Mauro our tour guide was very nice and did a pretty good job. Overall we really enjoyed the trip.
If anyone ever visit Italy, I highly recommend visiting Lake Como. Personally, I think this is more beautiful than Amalfi Coast. This would have been a 5 star tour but our tour leader had communication device issue throughout the entire tour. ALL the tourists experienced the same issue as I did which was constant loud static noise in our ear piece. The issue was with the tour leader transmitter. We weren't able to hear half of the things she said, plus it was extremely irritating having to constant static noise for 10 hours. The scenery was beautiful but our tour leader seems in experienced. She could have giving more background of the cities we visited.
We really enjoyed our day trip to Como. You get plenty of free time to wander both Como City and Bellagio. The boat is more of a ferry, but still a great ride that keeps you comfortable even in the rain. Tour guide provided a lot of information throughout the entire tour.
The boat tour was stunning ! The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend this tour it’s simply amazing.
Nice day out and beautiful scenery. Only thing I didn’t expect was so much ‘free time’ to shop etc in lake Como.
This was a great tirp. I wish the tour guide could speak English a little clearer. We found it difficult to understand her especially with the boat motor. SHe did a great job; just wanted to understand more.
This tour was exactly as advertised and very enjoyable. We traveled in a very comfortable coach bus to Como and the tour guide provided information to us along the drive regarding Milan city sites as well as Como sites. The ride took one hour. Once in Como to tour continued for a short while and then we had our own time to walk around and check out the town. We took a ferry ride to Bellagio and the tour guide continued to point out places of interest along the ferry ride. Once in Bellagio we had our own free time to walk around. This is well worth it for a break of the bustling city of Milan.
Beautiful scenery and lovely shops to visit. Highly recommend
While Lake Como is beautiful, this turned out to be one of the weaker Viator tours I have been on. The tour guide was somewhat engaged but not as much as others that we have had. Despite there only being three or four Spanish-speaking individuals on our bus, we had to put up with him repeating every description not only in English but in Spanish. This was annoying and took away from the time that he would've had to interact with us. This was probably fatiguing to him and probably one of the reasons he seemed disinterested. The bus ride was adequate although there was confusion initially as there were two buses and it was confusing as to which one we should get on. It turned out that they were both identical. The persons on the bus that I asked the question as to which bus we should be going on were not the most pleasant. The Lake Como boat ride was beautiful but turned out to be a public ferry. Certainly, almost everything we did today, could have been accomplished as well or even better by us taking a train from Milan and going on the public ferry by ourselves.
Lake Como is a fantastic place, as is the city of Como. Very spectacular scenery all the way,and the villas along the lake are impressive to say the least. Unfortunately the town of Bellagio at the end of the cruise was overrun by tourists with nothing much to do except souvenir shopping. There was a nice little train journey which takes in the village away from the tourist area that is well worth doing.
A worthwhile use of a day especially for visitors new to the area. We were blessed with a perfect weather day which added to our enjoyment.
Good way to see Lake Como from Milan in just one day. Maybe in hind sight should have gone and stayed there for a couple of days but if you are pressed for time and want to tick Lake Como of your bucket list a great way to go. Tour was well run and we say all the main sights was just a long day but worthwhile
Excellent tour! I enjoyed all the places we visited, Como, Lake Como, and Bellagio. Very pretty!! Our guides were very informative and kind. We had a great time!
