I picked this tour because I wanted to see the penguins without any other side trips. The express tour fulfilled my expectations. We started later in the afternoon then many of the other tours. The drive down was pleasant and full of information. We stopped at the visitor center and had time to walk the boardwalk. Saw penguins, wallaby and an echidna. We were given excellent tips on the viewing, when to go down etc. Participants had general admission, premier and ultimate tours and collectively we decided the premier was the best viewing option. The best advice was that many people leave shortly after the penguins arrived but this tour stays for the entire hour as penguins emerge in groups. Fabulous to watch them come out of the water, sometimes returning to try again, march across the sand and up the paths. The noise of theirs squawks and communication were wonderful. We really were able to experience the whole parade - it was fantastic. Hundreds of penguins in multiple groups marched home that evening.
