Après un transfert depuis votre hôtel, vous effectuerez un trajet d'environ 2 heures à travers les montagnes luxuriantes de Medellín qui entourent les plantations de caféiers durables de Jardín. À votre arrivée dans une ferme de caféiers, vous vous familiariserez avec le cycle de production, en commençant par la cueillette soigneuse et la sélection des meilleurs grains. Écoutez votre guide expérimenté informer votre groupe à propos du climat unique et des paysages variés de la Colombie et qui offrent des conditions idéales pour la culture des cafés gastronomiques.
Entrez ensuite dans une maison de torréfaction et laissez-vous captiver par les différentes techniques de torréfaction ; vous découvrirez les secrets de conditionnement qui permettent aux familles locales d'apporter jusqu'à votre tasse le meilleur café provenant de leurs plantations. Écoutez l'histoire du café en Colombie et de la culture de ce pays en découvrant les différents arômes au cours d'une démonstration de dégustation gastronomique.
Admirez les panoramas sur la ville pittoresque de Jardín, une petite ville typique et traditionnelle de plantations de café d'Antioquia, pendant un trajet en téléphérique jusqu'au sommet d'une petite montagne. Entouré de plantations de café et de panoramas sur le village, dégustez un déjeuner traditionnel proposant les ingrédients locaux dans le restaurant perché sur la montagne.
Après le déjeuner, vous descendrez à Jardín visiterez un bar à café au centre de la place du village, où vous pourrez commander une délicieuse boisson. Si vous le souhaitez, parcourez la boutique de l'usine et achetez des souvenirs (notamment du café !) avant de repartir vers votre hôtel de Medellín.
Remarque : votre guide fera en sorte qu'il y ait des arrêts en route et vous recommandera les meilleurs endroits pour prendre une collation ou une boisson traditionnelle (à vos frais).

My husband, close friend and I took the coffee tour to Jardin. Mario is an amazing tour guide, which feels weird to say because by the end of the day we were friends. Even though it was Palm Sunday and some usual stops were closed, Mario hosted a wonderful day we will not forget anytime soon - sharing places and stories of Medellin making the drive through the Andes mountains fun and enjoyable with memorable stops at coffee shops, lunch, a coffee plantation, and time in the beautiful and lively town of Jardin. I can't recommend the tour or Mario's warm generosity and excellent, intelligent conversation enough it was truly a highlight of our trip to Colombia.

We had an amazing day exploring the coffee country and the town of Jardin. The tour was easy, we were picked up and dropped off at our hotel and all the details were arranged for us - we were just along for the ride! The drive is about 3 hours each way, so it makes for a long day, but well worth it to see the beauty of the mountains and explore how coffee is made. We especially loved the town of Jardin, such a special place. We would definitely recommend this trip to friends!

This tour was absolutely incredible and we had THE BEST TOUR GUIDE I've ever had on any excursion. Mario was so knowledgeable, accomodating, and showed us so much!!! I would reccommend this trip and Mario 200%!!! We loved Mario so much we wanted to cancel our other excursion so we could go with him!

I am so glad we did this! Jardin is a gorgeous city, and overall the tour got us out of the city and off the beaten path. The views of the Colombian countryside are breathtaking. Our guide Mario was knowledgeable, and answered all our crazy questions why do so many adults in Colombia have braces?. Better yet, he was entertaining and friendly. The drive to Jardin was quite long, and we laughed all the way. I would highly recommend to anyone heading to Colombia.

Amazing and fantastic. It is a far trip at least three hours in Windy mountain so if you get carsick this may not be for you. But it was the really worth it. Our guide Mario was amazing we have been visited a local family at the coffee plantation and got to know the family. Mario was awesome! would do this to her again in a heartbeat it was the highlight of our trip.

We absolutely loved our day out to Jardin and our guide for the day was amazing and so patient with us - even when we decided we wanted to spend 2hours of our day in line to get to ride the cable car! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is not concerned about the price tag. For the price we did expect slightly more - only only 1 the whole day. And as the trip was out of our budget we had very high expectations that it would be worth the expense. While the trip was a great experience and a highlight of our trip to Colombia we would probably in reflection have either done it ourselves or gone with a cheaper tour operator. However, we are all so happy with our experience on the tour and had a really great day out. If it is within your budget we would highly highly recommend!
