The hop on and off was a great way to see the city in a few hours. We were on the blue line which had fewer people and the bus was smaller. I believe the red line goes to more places but we didn't have the time because we were there on a stop during our cruise.
Great tour to see exactly what you want to see without taking a taxi. Very informative guides and over 15 stops which allow you to see so much of this beautiful city.
The Colorbus Marseille Hop-On-Hop-Off Sightseeing tour was an excellent experience highlighting many of the outstanding sights there. Among the greatest highlights of the tour was the visit to Basilique Notre Dame de la Garde. Be prepared to climb up to the Basilica. Once there, enjoy spectacular view of Marseille and the harbor. Many cafes to stop at during your trip along the bus route. Easy walk to the beginning of the bus route from the ship.
wasted our time waiting for the next available bus to board. it took almost 2 hours before a bus arrived to accomodate the many people in line waiting.
We got off the ship and went and looking for the bus stop which is a very small sign if you blink you'll miss it. When the bus arrived it refused to take us. Told us we had to walk all the way to the office and I am handicap. It was about a 2 mile walk. Suggest getting off the ship take a taxi to the office and begin your tour there. If there's too many people in your group the bus will not take you Which was not told to us until the best driver told us. A waste of 2 hours of walking and looking for this place
It was hard to find the limited pick up spots and when we finally did, we had to wait in line over an hour to get on. We were so afraid of getting off that we would have another wait that we just rode it. We did get off at Notre Dame (recommend seeing this) we walked back to port from there because the line was so long again. We meandered around on our own which was much better. I would recommend taking the public bus to Notre Dame or the train trolley. They run a lot more frequently than the colorbus. Waste of time and money!!!
This is a great way to see the city. We went completely around once and then on the second time we got on and off at the sights that interested us most. Then only uncomfortable time was waiting in the hot sun for the bus to arrive at the designated first stop.
Great and inexpensive way to tour. Very informational and flexible. Buses were clean with a/c and wifi included.
The bus took an our to come...but overall the experience was good
