If you have time then you hould definitely include this day trip to your schedule. The history associated with Gibraltar is visible everywhere. The views around the island are amazing,. Encounters with the local monkeys are an experience in itself. The local tour guide David was very knowledgeable, abd spoke English fluently. Highly recommended
Very disappointed by the company, tell you to contact before your tour but nobody speaks English so they hang up on you!!
The sights to see in Gibraltar were fantastic. We arrived around 10.30am at the bus park and were then given until 12.20 to be back at the bus. We were taken upstairs at 12.30, but waited around 15-20 mins to get on the minibus and finally be on our way. We took some time at the lighthouse area looking out over the Mediterranean, which was beautiful. We then took a ride up to St. Michaels which really was stunning. We only had 20 mins here and it really was not long enough. There were quite a few stairs to climb and with and elderly person the time given for the visit just was not long enough. The visit to the monkeys was also great. We then had one hour back in the town. The whole trip would have been better had we gone straight up the rock, had more time at each place and then had the 2 hours in the town, the way it was done felt rushed the whole time in Gibraltar. One comment on our driver, should not make homophobic comments and religious ones.
I WASN'T ABLE TO PHONE TO CONFURM BOOKING , SO WAS NOT ABLE TO GO . HAD TO RE BOOK THE NEXT DAY , BY THE HOTEL RESORT I STAYED AT .
