We joined the tour on April 25, 2017. The meeting place was difficult to find by walking from our nearby hotel. It was located in the underground location -2 bus parking, taking taxi to the meeting place would be easier to find. The bus arrived on time. The on bus tour guide was very nice, but he spoke mostly in Spanish and his English was very difficult to understand. All the English speaking passengers had to guess he was saying. We were a bit annoyed by his constantly Spanish announcements that we did not understand at all and we only could understand 10 of his English. For example, his pronounced hotel as HOTO. If not because he made many announcements about hotel arrangements, we would not be able to get that. However the Cordoba and Ronda tours were guided by separate Engilsh speaking local persons and their English speaking were a lot better. We were able to benefit and enjoy from the tour guides and those tours were very nice. We checked in the 4-star hotel at Seville, Melia Lebreros. The hotel was nice, some staff could understand our questions and answered. Some staff could not understand our questions and they just ignored us like we never asked. We had a room facing the street. It was quite noisy and they were not able to switch the room since they said the hotel was fully booked. We ate two included dinners and breakfasts at the hotel. The food quality was so so. After checked out, we found the maid took all cash 300 US and about 150 Euro from the wallet of my wife hidden in the packet of her luggage We were under the advise of the tour guide, not to carry too much cash on the street, therefore She put the money in her luggage. Please lock all your valuables in the hotel safe. Overall we would not recommend this tour to non-Spanish speaking people.
Tis tour is good, our guide has done her job so well. She is straight otherwise how can she managed a group of 52 so well. No one were late, always ahead the schedule. Very impressed by her working efficiency and ability.
This tour was amazing!
This tour was amazing!
Excellent tour. Great guide - Carlos. First day is a long driving day broken by an excellent tour in Cordoba. Great day in Seville and the Ronda tour was good. Food in hotel was fine. Only complaint was that the Santa Justa hotel (3 star) had no twin rooms and so I had to share a bed with my 71 year old mother. Not ideal but the aircon was good and the rest of the hotel was fine.
The tour was very touristy! The low point was when we payed a ridiculous amount to see a Flamenco show and halfway through the show someone came up to take our picture, handed us the picture then came back later and asked for us to pay for it. TACKY! Our tour guide was well informed and seemed to know a fair amount of history. Hotels were nice. The locations we stopped in were excellent and would have loved to know more about the places. Maybe think about providing a more detailed itinerary to people that includes history and other notable facts that they can read while on the bus.
Very well organized tour.
