Rendez-vous par vos propres moyens au point de rencontre au centre de Londres, puis embarquez dans un minibus confortable pour effectuer un trajet panoramique de 160 km jusqu'à votre première destination, Stratford-upon-Avon, la ville natale du plus grand dramaturge anglais, William Shakespeare.
Votre guide vous proposera un commentaire instructif aux différents arrêts de Stratford-upon-Avon qui sont liés à la vie de Shakespeare, notamment le lieu de naissance de Shakespeare - une demeure du XVIe siècle où il naquit et passa son enfance et son adolescence, l'église Holy Trinity, où il fut baptisé et enterré, ainsi que son école.
Après avoir exploré la ville natale du poète, vous ferez un bref arrêt à Shottery pour photographier le cottage à toit de chaume d'Anne Hathaway, l'épouse de Shakespeare. Vous poursuivrez ensuite votre route vers le sud pour atteindre les Cotswolds, une magnifique région qui prospéra au Moyen-Âge grâce au commerce de la laine.
Roulez sur de petites routes qui serpentent parmi de douces collines, des villages couleur miel, des pâturages verdoyants et des églises anciennes. Avec votre guide, découvrez le village médiéval de Burford, explorez la charmante Coln Valley et les villages d'Upper et Lower Slaughter avant de vous arrêter pour déjeuner (à vos frais) dans le bourg commerçant de Stow-on-the-Wold.
Après le déjeuner, vous quitterez les Cotswolds pour arriver dans la ville d'Oxford, abritant la fameuse université du même nom, fondée en 1167. Suivez votre guide au cours d'une promenade tranquille dans la ville universitaire qui vous permettra de passer devant des collèges tels qu'All Souls et la Divinity School, et de découvrir des sites où de célèbres auteurs, artistes et inventeurs étudièrent. Familiarisez-vous avec les célèbres habitants de la ville tels que J. R. R. Tolkien, CS Lewis et Lewis Carroll, et découvrez les lieux qui servirent de décor à certaines scènes des films de Harry Potter.
Vous aurez le temps d'explorer les rues étroites et le centre-ville d'Oxford par vous-même avant de repartir pour Londres dans la soirée.

We would like to share our travel experience to Oxford, the Cotswolds and Stratford Upon Avon. We were promptly picked up by our guide, Jose. He was very accommodating to everyone in the group and individualized the tour based on participants needs. We spent the entire day learning about the history, and detailed facts about each site. Jose made the whole experience memorable and entertaining. His energy and enthusiasm was contagious. A week later we were still talking about our day with Jose.

The company was Rabbi's company. The minibus was modern and spacious with excellent air conditioning. The driver and the guide were very sympathetic. The guide Dan was very nice and knowledgeable. Not enough time everywhere but it's hard to cram 3 places for one day. The trip is recommended. We will continue to travel with Rabbi's company

We loved our small tour group, which traveled in a comfortable, convenient van. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and had a great personality. The smaller size of our van allowed us to get close to the cottages in the Cotswolds and depart the bus for a stroll around the beautiful area and a bit of shopping. Our experience in walking around the Cotswolds was a highlight of our entire trip. The passengers on larger buses were prevented from departing the buses in the Cotswolds because the roads are so small and cant handle large vehicles. We enjoyed our visit to Stratford as well. We saw so much in a single day that we were quite amazed.

The trip was excellent and the diver/tour guide was wonderful. Private Group is the way to go-only 7 people in our group. First we went to Stratford-upon-Avon to see Shakespeares birth place. Walked through the house, got some great pictures. We had free time to check out the Main Street where I did some Christmas shopping. Then we headed to The Cotswolds- beautiful and scenic drive with lots of sightseeing and history along the way. Stopped in a tiny town called Stow-on-the-Wold for lunch at a pub founded in 947. We only had an hour here- wish we would have had more time! Lunch at the pub took the entire hour. More scenic driving- then arrived at Oxford. Had a local tour guide for this part- he was very knowledgeable. Walked all over, lots of great history and beautiful buildings. I definitely recommend this tour and will definitely book with them again.

Great having a small group - we only had 9 people for a 18 person tour. The bus was very comfortable. Our guide was great - great source of information. Loved Oxford, Cotswolds and Stratford upon Avon. Totally worth it.

Great tour. I'm so glad we booked this small group tour. Jorge sp? was our driver and guide. The pick-up location was easy to find and he found us! He was very knowledgeable and very funny. When we arrived at Oxford, he turned us over to local guide, Debbie who was equally terrific. She showed us many Harry Potter movie location sites. Both guides took very good care of us, answering all our questions and giving suggestions. We thoroughly enjoyed our day.
