Admire colourful buildings on Secession street while you walk towards the place where all locals meet; Preseren square is one of the city’s most important landmarks, named after Slovenia’s national poet France Preseren. Learn about Preseren’s interesting life and unheard love in the times when Europe was approaching great changes. Cross the famous Triple Bridge, created by famed architect Jože Plečnik, a great European architect and a local of Ljubljana. Continue to the Central market where bustling stalls offer local produce and colourful flowers. Learn about Ljubljana’s symbol, a dragon, when stopping at Dragon’s bridge.
