Day 1
The tour begins upon your arrival at Lima’s International airport. Once you clear immigration and customs, you will be met by a driver who will transport you to the Hilton Lima Miraflores, located on Lima's Gastronomic Boulevard. Upon arrival at the Hilton, we will personally meet you to welcome you on this once-in-a-lifetime experience. There is no better way to start than with a Pisco Sour. You will most likely arrive in the evening, so no activities are planned for this day. However, should you wish to explore the city, we will be happy to recommend a place based on your preferences.
Day 2
We begin this day with breakfast at the hotel. Try to refrain a bit and wear comfortable shoes as we will walk through Miraflores on our way to Sky Kitchen for a market tour, fruit tasting, and cooking lesson. This will introduce you to some of the basics of Peruvian cuisine in a fun, dynamic, and delicious environment.
Once we conclude, we will return to the hotel where you can indulge in a swim on the roof-top pool, rest, do some early souvenir shopping, or explore a bit of the city. In the evening you will dine at Astrid y Gastón (ranked No. 39 in the world by The World's 50 Best Restaurants). You will enjoy the 17-course tasting menu and wine pairing. Gastón Acurio is the chef that put Peru on the culinary map. This is an experience not to be missed. After dinner, the evening is yours to enjoy on your own.
Day 3
We once again begin with breakfast before we head to the Casa de Gastronomía peruana where we will be guided through a history of Peruvian food. From there you will visit the Museo Larco which houses the largest collection of pre Columbian jewelry. Once we conclude our tour, you will be taken back to Miraflores where you will be free to enjoy and explore this charming city. You may stroll over to Larcomar for first class shopping, enjoy some of Lima’s best ceviche at Punto Azul, or enjoy a bird’s eye view of the coast with a paragliding experience. we will be happy to arrange any of these for you.
In the evening, you will experience Maido (ranked No. 7in the world by The World's 50 Best Restaurants), a Peruvian-Japanese fusion marvel where you will enjoy the Nikkei Experience: a 13 course tasting menu with a wine pairing constructed around each individual course. Those of you with shellfish allergies may construct your own tasting menu from the a la carte menu. After dinner, enjoy a walk along the coast, stroll back to the hotel, or head out for a night of drinks with your new-found friends.

Day 4
We begin this day by checking out of the hotel and having breakfast before we head to the airport. Our short flight to Cuzco will depart early and upon landing, we will head out on a tour of the Sacred Valley and then board a train to Machu Picchu. Upon arrival and after we check in at the Tierra Viva Machu Picchu we will have dinner at Indio Feliz. There is no experimenting here. The food is traditional and satisfying. After dinner, you will be free to explore the small town, buy souvenirs, and go to sleep early. Be sure to get some rest. The day tomorrow starts extremely early.
Day 5
Today we awake early. A quick breakfast will prepare you to head up the mountain and see one of the Wonders of the World: Machu Picchu. You will have an opportunity to visit the ruins of this magnificent site accompanied by our experienced guide. Should you feel up to the task, you may climb Wayna Picchu and take in an even more impressive view of the mountain.

We will start back for Cuzco in the early afternoon. After we check in at our hotel, you will head to Pachapapa for dinner. If you are looking forward to trying cuy orneado, one of the more discussed local delicacies, this is your chance. Let me know as they need 1 hour notice to prepare it!
Day 6- New Year's Eve
Today is a day of rest. Wander the plaza, visit the many souvenir shops, and rest for the evening to come. This evening you will dine at MAP Café. You will enjoy a 3-course meal accompanied by a delightful wine pairing. You will enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of the Museo de Arte Precolombino that surrounds this glass-encased restaurant. After dinner, you may stroll down to the main square and enjoy a night of dancing, stop at the Museo del Pisco and prepare for New Year in Cuzco.

Day 7- New Year
Today we have a late start. We check out of the hotel and head back to Lima where we will once again stay at the Hilton Lima Miraflores. Once you are settled in, you will not have to wander far to find Ámaz (ranked No. 47 in Latin America by Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants) next door to the hotel. Dinner will consist of dishes inspired by the Amazon. This will be our last night in Lima and you may spend it as you wish.
Day 8
Today you will check out of the hotel and, sadly, our time together must come to an end but not before you have one final meal at Virgilio Martinez’s Central (ranked No. 6 in the world by The World's 50 Best Restaurants). You will enjoy a journey through 17 courses designed to illicit a complete physical response. A poem for the palate. You will also enjoy a delicately constructed wine pairing that stokes the flavors of the meal.
This will serve as your farewell to this experience. Those of you with late departures may enjoy the last few hours in the city by walking along the coast or trying your luck at some of the casinos. Whenever you are ready, a car will be waiting to take you back to Lima's Jorge Chavez International Airport. As you head back home, you will carry with you memories of sights, sounds, sensations, smells, and flavors that will serve as a reference point to other experiences.
