A propos de cette activités
Your tour guide will be waiting for you at the port of Kusadasi with your name on a sign. Then commence the drive to Ephesus in comfortable, climate controlled transport. You will start your tour from the Magnesia gate, saving you time by skipping the lines with our pre-purchased tickets.
As you stroll along the marble streets of Ephesus, passing the Odeon, other monuments, and fountains, your guide will regale you with tales of daily life in Ephesus and highlight the important role of symbolism in ancient times. A highlight of your tour will be the impressive facade of the Celsus Library and the great theater. You will also be given some time to visit Ephesus' famous terrace houses (own expense) which were once home to elite citizens.
Your next stop is the House of Virgin Mary, believed to be the place where she was taken by St John to spend her last days. This was only discovered following the visions of a bed-ridden German nun. Located at the top of a hill in serene surroundings, this is a sacred place for Christians and Muslims alike from all over the world.
The Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, will be your last stop of the day. While just a single column remains today, it is easy to imagine how majestic it was back in the day. You will then return to the port of Kusadasi.

Prior to booking this tour, I called Viator to make sure that we would make the pickup time of 8:30-10AM, and the customer rep assured me that the company will make arrangements, based on the information that we provide ie.Cruise Ship and arrival time. Our cruise R.C, Vision of the Seas arrived on time to Kusadasi, Turkey, on Oct. 4/16, 9AM.We got off the ship approx. 9:20AM.As we exited the building, we saw many Viator tour guides holding up names. We didn't see ours, and continued to walk down the pathway to the exit that lead to the market. We went back and asked a Viator guide, he asked us what Tour company are we with, we didn't know that there were specific companies, he helped us determine off our confirmation sheet it was with T4T.He said that he hadn't seen them yet, but they will be here and wait at the exit.We walked up and down the pathway for 20 mins, and even exited to make sure we didn't miss our guide. The gentleman selling Wifi at the exit saw we were anxious and offered to call the number on our sheet, and to our dismay, the number wasn't working. We went back to the other Viator guides and they had other contacts, to which they called, and informed us that the guide had waited 45 mins for us, we didn't show, called us, and they left, sorry. We were shocked and angry! We now had to make our own arrangements to get to Ephesus. On our way out, the Wifi guy offered to help us again, and called the number, this time the call went through, to which we got a hold of a person, who told us the guide was there from 8-8:45AM, and we argued a bit. In the end, 1-1.5 hrs late, they got a driver to come pick us up and bring us to catchup with the rest of the tour group. We took it out on Evren the guide, even though it was not his fault, but he was very nice and went back with us quickly to explain the stuff we missed.Evren was VERY knowledgeable and informative.Unfortunately the pickup mishap overshadowed the positive experience we had on the tour. Companies need to double check their guest times!!!
