We enjoyed our Chernobyl tour. We found the day to be very interesting. Make sure to bring water or to get water at the gas station stop. I would not recommend visiting in the summer as the requirement to wear cloths that cover your legs and arms would make it very uncomfortable
Very good tour, our guide Anastasia was very helpfull and knowledgeable. If i did it again i might look at the 2 day or 3 day tour as there is so much to see.
A fascinating tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, animated, and courteous. He worked extra hard to make our visit enjoyable and worthwhile. I'd give this tour 5 stars.
A truly great tour that was well organized and very, very informative. Our driver/guide, Nadir, shared his extensive knowledge of the area in a way that was always interesting. He also shared some history about a few out of the way locations (from a distance of course). Highly recommend this tour.
My phone now charges when I hold it in my hand after this tour and I no longer need a flashlight for camping! :P Just Kidding Nazar was perfect. Meeting up in the morning was very smooth. Bring 10 USD or 500 Hryvnia Ukraine currency for the insurance, they accept both. There is also a McDonalds at the meet up spot for bathroom and breakfast before you depart. Lots of info as we went along but not an annoying amount. Nazar was very kind, helping older people and the ladies jump from ledges or get across floors that have broken down. The attention to your safety is very high. ANY concerns you have they will address. Lots of walking on this tour, so bring a comfortable pair of shoes. Broken glass and debris everywhere in the buildings, mostly from the vandalism unfortunately. Rain jacket as well, you are outside all day. Maybe a flashlight as well, some of the side rooms can get pitch black dark on a cloudy day. The pit stops were sufficient. Get what you need from the gas station WAG that you stop at, for the day. The roads are bad, lots of pot holes or bumps, its just the nature of the trip. All I can say is nature is an amazing thing. Life goes on. Thanks again TripAdvisor and Nazar for the great tour.
Ridiculously interesting tour!
Best trip ever. Guides were very knowledgeable with good English. Plenty of comfort breaks. 12hr day but worth the effort.
