I'm sorry to give such a low review as the tour guide did his very best, but this trip simply wasn't worth the long drive from Istanbul. The first stop one hour away is a zoo, which is no different to any zoo in one's home country. The second stop another hour away is a lake, which is is no different to any other lake and not particularly special. There are a few shops that line it, which are nothing special. You then have an OK lunch which is by the waterfalls in the picture. The picture is misleading in that this is just one view most of the place is filled with huts and other buildings rather than natural beauty. You then go to Kartepe where you don't actually hike to the top you have to pay 150 Turkish Lira to rent a Jeep to drive to the top, but the view from the top is nothing special. On the way back, we spent an hour stopping off at a Western shopping mall which was nothing special and certainly not a Turkish experience. Overall, I felt I got zero Turkish experience in the tour. The description read as if it would be immersion in the Turkish countryside and scenery, but you spend most of your time on the bus. The lake is just a lake, nothing special, and the waterfall looks far less idyllic than the picture due to all the buildings. I learned afterwards that the tour is mainly targeted at Middle Easterners who do not have access to lakes, waterfalls, and zoos. For them, the tour is probably very good. For westerners who are used to seeing these things, I'm afraid I would not recommend the tour, since this is no different to what we have back home, and would recommend other tours which are much more Turkish.
every things are good, just one negative it take long time to collect travelers from Istanbul approximately 2 hours seating in bus and crossing crowded city Istanbul well get you tired before tour is begin.
