Traditional Calligraphy Class

Calligraphy was first introduced to Vietnam by the Chinese, one of many cultures that was exchanged between the two peoples. However, since the Vietnamese first adopted this ancient art much has changed in the way it is practiced today to adapt better to the Vietnamese language. The elegance of brush strokes as they define each character is as appealing as art itself. What intrigues even more is how different characters gracefully harmonize to change the meaning of a word. Don't worry if you don not have any prior experience in Calligraphy because having already taught countless travelers the basics of Calligraphy, he knows exactly how to adapt the class to match the different individuals. The host for this activity is also revered among the Calligraphy community in Hanoi and it's an absolute joy to just watch him perform his masterful strokes with such grace and poise. :)
