Interesting tour. Good way to see the sights of Hue
On this tour we visited many temples, Ho Chi Minhs Presidential Palace Area, the Prison etc. Lunch was provided and was very pleasant. Our guide had a good knowledge of the History and City, however as with most of our guides in Vietnam we struggled at times to understand due to the strong Vietnamese accent and their commentary likened to a long lecture. A little more understanding in Tourism is required. A good day trip though.
Hoi An Express supplied us with a fabulous guide and driver for this day tour. We saw so much in the time we had, from temples, museums the Women's Museum shouldn't be missed, a pedicab ride through the Old Quarter, and much, much more, including a top class meal in Hanoi Culture Restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble for our Guide and Driver.
The tour was very well designed for the time allowed. The visit to the lacquer factory/shop was unexpectedly interesting and a must do if you are visiting Hanoi. Our guide was there to pick us up on time, he was polite and very informative and went beyond the structured plan to customize our day, as some of us wanted to do some extra shopping. The lunch provided was delicious and at a very nice location, roof top with a nice view of the Old Quarter.
