Highly recommend this company. Everything from the customer services, my guide and the itinerary. It was such a lovely tour--it was informative and our guide has such deep knowledge of the site.
The place is WONDERFUL and beautiful, you must go there, you can feel a totally different energy and the history is really interesting. The problem was the guide and that company.... he has hurry and we did not ride enough, he has not talent to be a good guide and I did not feel good because he was like hurry us all the time. I wasn't happy with the service but.. the place woow you must go. Recomended!!!
Very interesting, and we had a good guide, once we finally connected. He never showed up at the hotel till 45 minutes after scheduled time. Our very helpful hotel desk clerk spent 20 minutes on the phone trying to find out what was happening. One number from our email was out of service. It was an 877 number so possibly only works from North America. The local number given had no area code with it, so the clerk had to go to his computer and find the area code, since it was apparently a Cancun number and not a Guadalajara one. He was put on hold for at least 10 minutes, when he finally got a person on line. Then the guide showed up, apologetic, saying he had only received a call to pick us up 20 minutes ago. There was no one else on the tour, so he drove us in a car, and was very friendly and informative. THere was no place out there at Guachimontones to get something to eat. Whe we got back to the city the guide told us of a good place to eat, and it was an excellent Mexican restaurant near our hotel - La Chata. We booked through Viator, but the booking is sent to Mayaland Tours, which is in Cancun, far from Guadalajara. So they passed it on to Estacion Turistica GDL.
