Our most popular tour.

To me it's the tour that provides the most when it comes to history and culture of the island.

We see many attractions, each telling their own story.

One of those attractions is the village of Santana. This is where you will find the traditional '"A-Frame" houses you might have seen online or in guide books.

We visit an authentic Santana home and steer away from the mass tourism of course.

We visit Pico Do Areiro which is the 3rd highest peak on the island 1811m above sea level, there are usually very dramatic views and we tend to spend a fair amount of time there.

We will see lots of agricultural terraces used by locals, we will meet locals and we will have lunch at possibly the best restuarant view on the island, Quinta do Furao Hotel.

After lunch we usually like to include some wine or rum tasting depending on the time we have and what the group is like.

Sometimes we include a walk or two, again depending on the group. This is all very personalised so it depends on many factors.

This is a fun and informative trip for all ages and definately an experience to remember!
