Your driver guide will take you to the Chianti area, the most beautiful countryside of Tuscany. You will arrive at a local winery at about 10 am and start a guided tour of the cellar with a full explanation of wine making and wine philosophy.

Afterwards a professional hiking guide will lead you on a tour around the vineyards where you will discover a sublime landscape composed of grapevines, rolling hills, woods and lakes dotted by typical Tuscan country houses in the 350 hectares belonging to the winery.

After a couple of hours hiking, with appetite whetted, you will be ready to enjoy a full traditional Tuscan lunch paired with great red wines.

At about 2:30 pm you will leave the winery and you will continue the exploration of the Chianti area, driving through a scenic landscape. You will stop and visit the villages of Montefioralle and Greve in Chianti.

Then you will go to your last experience of the day: you will visit a Tuscan Villa/farm which is specialized in the production of olive oil, where you will have the opportunity to learn about the olive oil making process and taste the most important product used in Tuscan cuisine.

We had an amazing time on this tour. Stefano was our driver and guide and he did a great job explaining the history and geography. He took us to the Chianti region and stopped to let us take photos of the gorgeous countryside. We arrived at the Chianti Classico vineyard and met with our personal hiking guide. Marco Antony was our hiking guide and he was super knowledgeable about the land, vines, and history. The hike was a mild 3 mile hike that took about 2 hrs. When we returned to the vineyard house, we were greeted by the property manager who led us to a fresh farm lunch with paired wine tastings. It was amazing! We then went to Greve and toured the local shops, we purchased cheese from the local market and it was fantastic! After that, Stefano drove us to an Olive Oil property close to Florence that was truly a gem. The owner Elenore greeted us and was so warm and welcoming. We toured the spectacular property which included a small private chapel that was breathtaking. The oil we tasted was the best we had in Italy and we wish we had purchased more! We really had an amazing time on this trip!
