Fez Cooking Class with Local

Fes cooking class starts by picking you up from your Hotel/Riad in Fes in one of our luxurious vehicles and drive you towards an authentic Moroccan Souq.

The Souk/Souq is a the traditional Moroccan market, where you will get to admire local crafts, immerse in local life, purchase interesting souvenirs, and fully appreciate the exotic atmosphere of Fes the old city. During your Tour in the colorful Souk would, you would be able to pick your own vegetables, fresh meat and fragrant Moroccan spices (Cumin, Peper, Paprika, Ras El-Hanout, Fenugreek, Sesame Seeds, Cinnamon, Saffron, Ginger, Turmeric...), to make a perfect typical Moroccan dish.

After that, we will take our fresh ingredient to a traditional Moroccan House, where you will be welcomed by a native Moroccan chef, and have a cup of Moroccan mint tea and some tempting pastries, while discussing the ingredients and techniques of your dishes.

Next, you will be cooking a full Moroccan meal composed of the most delicious Salads (Zaalouk, Taktouka, Salad of chopped vegetables, Bakoula..), a main dish, which is mostly a hot Tagine with chicken or meat with vegetables and olives, Moroccan Couscous with seven vegetables, Moroccan Soup “Harira”, or a crispy Pastilla with a perfect combination of both salt and sweet.

You will be also introduced to the traditional way of making Moroccan bread “Khubz”, and then take it to a public oven to be perfectly cooked with a stunning golden colour. Your personal chef will provide you with the secrets and techniques of Moroccan cooking as the way to make your own exotic combination of fragrant spices.

When you finish your incredible Moroccan dishes, you will gather around a typical Moroccan rounded table to enjoy your irresistible Moroccan Masterpiece. At the end of your memorable Fez cooking class, your personal driver will take you back to your Hotel/Riad.
