Stop At: Ifrane National Park, Ifrane Morocco

Pick up from your Fes hotel.
Drive 2 1/2 hours south from the Imperial city of Fes to the Middle Atlas mountains, where the ancient cedar forest still comes down to the valley to Ifrane.
The town of Ifrane is built in a Swiss style with red roofs and plenty of parkland, and it is a skiing centre in winter.
There is a freshness in the air here.
See the centre and the Al-Akhhawayn University, take a walk through the cedar forests and around the lakes (dayets) of the region in the afternoon - perhaps see eagles or the Barbary macaques living in the forest.
Return to Fes in the evening ( 2 1/2 hour drive).
The tour lasts 10 - 12 hours
