A big Thank you to Mostafa for showing us the beauty and the history of Fez. He walked with us long hours with our slow pace. Mostafa has a great knowledge, very good English and kind and good heart. We wanted historical tour and we didn't feel pushed to buy anything. We had a great tour. Thank you again Mostafa
Our guide, Moustapha, was superb. He was knowledgeable and indefatigable and his enthusiasm was infectious. Our tour of the Médina and highlights outside it was one of the high points of our time in Morocco. Without a seeming agenda, we covered most of the must see attractions in Fes. We would heartily recommend him for anyone wanting a thorough introduction to the glories of Fes.
Booking with this company was rather easy and they were very accommodating. I especially appreciated that they agreed to my request for Mustapha as our tour guide (I had read previous positive reviews about him and I was hoping we would be lucky enough to have him as our tour guide)! We had a group of 6 (24-62 years old) and the whole day was very nice. They were prompt in showing up before 9:30am at our hotel ready to go for the day. And they had a nice vehicle large enough for all of us. I had done my research of Fes and had a list of places that I wanted to visit during the day. I showed this list to Mustapha at the start of the day and he made sure to visit all the locations and more. Mustapha has great knowledge about Fes and Morocco and speaks very good English. I HIGHLY recommend a tour guide when going into the Medina of Fes as it is very large and very easy to get lost. And I couldn’t have been happier with my choice to go with this tour and Mustapha as our tour guide.
Our guide was very personable and informative. We asked him many questions, a key benefit of a private tour, we learned a lot about Fez, the people and culture, the country. He made an effort to work with our pace and our interests, another benefit of a private tour. The first part of the touring involved driving to several locations and walking around, and we then ended up at one end of the medina, and we walked to the other end where our riad was. It was a full day tour, 7 hours, we had a great glimpse into Fez.
We didnt think our guide did a good job of explaining things. We saw other guides explaining a lot at the sites, but ours just said a few things and wanted to move on! However, it was good to have a guide and car as we wouldnt have been able to see all the sites on our own! It was nice to visit the ceramic factory and the carpet place, but we did feel a bit pressured to buy and ended up buying things that we didnt intend to! Fez is a fascinating old place with a lot of history and a must visit while in Morocco!
This was a fantastic day. Our guide showed us every part of Fez that we wanted to see. He also asked us first, so we didn't go to places that we weren't interested in like a lot of guides do. He seemed to know people throughout the Medina. We enjoyed his sense of humor and his information. And we saw so many places that we wouldn't have found on our own.
I didnt feel like is was a sightseeing trip. It was mostly a trip to vendors that expected a sale was going to be made. I was very interested to see how things were done but not into buying. This was awkward.
