Private Glencoe Driving Tour from Edinburgh

You will be picked up at your hotel in Edinburgh and we will depart from Edinburgh between 8am-9am depending on whether you would like to visit a whisky distillery or not.

During the tour your guide will tell you about Scottish history, from the earliest settlers in Scotland, through Roman Times to the Jacobite rebellions and what it means to be a Scot today. We will stop at the following places and whether we stop on the way to Glencoe or during our return will be dependent upon the weather:
*Depart edinburgh at 9am.
*Views of Stirling castle.
* Coffee/Toilet break in the quaint town of Callander with a walk around town. This is where the Highlands officially start.
* Loch Lubnaig for a short stroll by the loch side
*Lunch stop in local restaurant.
* Views of Rannoch Moor.
* Arrive in Glencoe. Stop in several locations, with time out of the car to walk in places the bigger tour buses cannot get down.
* Option to visit whisky distillery on way back to Edinburgh (last chance for whisky tour is 4pm).
* Drop off back at your hotel in Edinburgh approx 6pm-7pm.
