My bf and I absolutely loved this tour. We had a blast snorkeling, we got see turtles and sting rays! And swiming in the cenotes was also amazing, the water was so refreshing. I would advise to take some mosquito repellent for your tour of Tulum. Our tour guide Victor was very knowledgeable and spoke great English, he made the trip even better. He even came prepared with an ice chest of water bottles and snacks! Totally worth buying this tour, you won't regret it. I wish I could go back! Dont forget to tip your tour guide and drivers because they are amazing at their jobs!
The tour was fantastic. Tulum, for me, was very interesting and beautiful. Next stop was snorkeling. We saw lots of fish, manta rays and two green sea turtles. Then we went to the cenote. The water in the cenote was chilly, but felt great. The cave system is very interesting. All in all, another great tour
The guide Mariano was incredible! The snorkel and the cave swim were both absolutely incredible. Tulum fantastic. The lunch delicious. The service in van perfect. Truly a wonderful tour.
Hernan was exceptionally awesome!! He was very knowledgeable and ensured that everyone felt safe and secure the entire time during our day. I would most definitely book any excursion with Hernan as our guide. Thanks Hernan Meyer!!
This tour is a must do. You learn so much about the Mayan Ruins and its people from a separate tour guide connected to the Tulum Ruins. We were also given detailed information about the Cenote and Cave by the company's tour guides My disppointment was that we were not able to go to the Mayan Beach to snorkle as water was too rough and low visibility in the water to see the reef, etc. Instead they took us to a Lagoon that is both salt water and fresh water. It was ok; i would not pay to go there though. After the Lagoon we went to area with cave and cenote; we had lunch which was BBQ pork, rice, fruit, pasta salad, tea and water; they have options for vegan or gluten free. After lunch we trekked the woods to go to the cave. Explanations were given on different types of trees, spiders etc. We declined the stairs into the cave, saw the stalactites and stalagmites formation. It was very impressive. Explainations were given on their growth, what they are made of, etc. After the cave we scaled some stone steps out of cave and walked to the cenote. We descended the stairs down to a platform where we were give instructions and more information about the cenote. After jumping into the water we all gatthered to swim with guides to other parts of the cenote and its caves. This is a must do tour; hopefully you will schedule your trip so you can snorkle at the beach.
The tour and places we visited were fantastic. The tour guide was super friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Even the driver was great. The Caracol cenote was the highlight of the day hands down!
We had an amazing time. It could not have been better. From the first moment everything went great. Pickup from our hotel was right as scheduled. Guide (Benito) was funny, knowledgeable and made sure everyone was comfortable and safe at all times. We saw majestic Mayan ruins right on the ocean, gorgeous snorkeling water where we were lucky to see rays and turtles and we capped off the day with a swim in a stunning cenotes. Food and water were provided at all times during the trip as well. Overall an awesome experience that I would definitely recommend.
Loved the excursion and the variety of being able to complete three adventures. Tour guide and tour photographer were very friendly and engaging answering all questions about the tour. The only down side was traveling in a cramped van.
Awesome tour by guided by Gina. She gave us a history lesson at the ruins, she gave us an educational tour in the cenotes and while snorkeling, and best of all she let us have fun. So easy to ask her questions and the people that accompanied her from the company. The driver, i think Michael, was his name was friendly and had the van cleaned everytime we got in and out. He helped with all the gear and was as friendly as can be. Eric did a fantastic job taking photos of us during our snorkeling session. Awesome crew, our party of 6 all had a blast and would recommend this company and tour for anyone wanting to see Tulum. The best part of this tour were the snacks that were given in the van. So not only did we get a lunch by the cenotes but we also got a sack lunch with chips, dessert, and some empanadas. (however you spell it).
The guide Victor was very well prepared, organized, courteous and knowledgeable. Our most favorite activity was the Cenote Caracol with stalactites. It was an amazing experience...Incredible!
Mayan ruins were very interesting our guide was very knowledgeable it was a very hot day so the Cenote and snorkelling were a great way to finish the day
The tour was incredible and our guide Victor was very knowledgeable about every part He related to everyone on the tour and made the trip fun and exciting . Our driver was super safe the vehicle was clean and had plenty of room for everyone. The tour started after picking everyone up at the ruins. Victor was able to explain the history behind each thing we saw and we had time to walk around on our own. We went to the cenotes and first toured the dry Cenote then swam in the other one before having an authentic Mexican lunch in the beautiful jungle setting. We finished the daywith a snorkel in the lagoon where we saw amazing beautiful fish and marine life. We also had a professional photographer join us along the way. He was able to capture shots we would never have gotten on her own making for some great memories we can share with family. If you take any Tour on the Riviera Maya make it this one and ask for Victor he made the trip memorable knowledgeable and fun!
This excursion was amazing, pickup was on time and pleasantly greeted by Pepe who was a great guy. He was very caring, funny and informative. We felt comfortable and looked after throughout the whole trip. The driver (I think his name was George) was a great guy also, he looked after our belongings in the bus while we were out and about, so we didn’t have to carry everything. He also made sure we all had the right safety equipment for water activities. Tulum ruins were great and learned a lot from Pepe, it was busy but that’s normal. reef snorkelling was great and well organised. The people involved made us feel safe. The photographer was a great guy also ( I think his name was Jose) he took some great pics that we purchased at the end. We managed to see a lot of fish and even some big rays. The lunch was nice and relaxed with plenty of shade. The final part of the day was the cenote swim and caves which was amazing. a walk through a cave then into a fresh water cenote to swim through another cave system. Great adventure, great company, highly recommend.
Booked online in advance and wasnt sure what to expect . Was super happy with the experience and our guide Alex was awesome . She was super helpful and knowledgeable of the area . It was my girlfriends first snorkeling experience and Alex made sure she was at ease in the water and was comfortable in the water. We were thankful for the snacks and tasty lunch which was provided. The tour offered pickup and dropoff at our hotel which was handy . All in all it was a pretty awesome day ,so Thanks to Alex and the crew !
Amazing tour, our guide Pepe, the driver and photographer went above and beyond to assure our experience throughout the way was unforgettable. Pepe has an incredible amount of knowledge and was able to point out the history, and pertinent information on every place we visited taking us back to how it all started, what has happened since then and where we are now.
The group size was not to big. The guides were great. Very knowledgeable. Swimming in the Cenotes was the best experience ever. Water, snacks and Mayan lunch was plentiful. Would do this tour again.
We had a small group of 12 people on 12/28/2018. It was wonderful and better than we expected, especially our tour guide Mr. Stefan. He was very knowledgeable and very thorough with the organization of the tour. He took care of all of us. We had a good visit to the Tulum Ruins and we had fun snorkeling two times. We would definitely like to tour again with Ocean Tours Mexico.
A great outing for our family of 5. A great mix of culture, adventure and flora and fauna. Our guide Pepe was awesome!! He was passionate about each part of our day. Snorkeling in the rain was fantastic saw two different turtles. The highlight was the cenotes- truly magical. Something that is so unique to this area The trip was well organized. They provide everything from water to food to equipment. We met a wonderful family from Canada which made the trip so much fun. Highly recommend.
My friend and I had a great time on this tour with our guide Mariano. We loved the variety and amount of activities- you definitely get a long of bang for your buck. Highly recommended!
My friends and I did this excursion led by Fernando with David as our driver and Karla as our photographer. Overall this was the highlight of our visit in Cancun, they provided us with snacks, a great time together, and an unforgettable experience. The transportation was smooth and on time, we arrived at the Tulum ruins and Fernando explained everything in great detail. During the snorkeling part, some of us had some fears going in the water but there were plenty of other people to help us out if we didn't feel great about the water. The lunch wasn't that great but the cenote was incredible. I would recommend this to anyone!
This tour was awesome!! The tour guide, Joaquin, was class! Very knowledgeable and personable with a great sense of humor. Would highly recommend this tour!
