Of course, the wall and tombs were amazing. However, there were communication issues with the local operator the night before and the morning of the pick up. I called the night before to inform of a hotel pick up change and then I had to call again in the morning when I had not heard or seen the driver. Next, the bus was old and we had to stop on the way out of Beijing to shift around people going on different tours onto different buses. Our wall guide was very nice and amusing, but did try and convince my brother and I to not go to the Ming Tombs and stay on his tour. After the wall, we met up with a new guide for the Ming Tombs but the tour was Chinese specific and we were the only non-Chinese speaking guests. This bus was even worse. There was no leg room and was very uncomfortable. The guide was nice and tried to explain everything in English and she explained in Chinese. In the end, the guides were nice, but communication is horrible and transportation was bad.
