Bangkok Custom and Private Guided Day Tour Experience

This is our second tour with Geng, who is a marvelous Bangkok city guide. We corresponded in advance to plan the itinerary for the day which included: The Grand Palace, Emerald Buddha temple, Wat Pho, long tail boat ride in Thornburi canals, Wat Suthat temple, flower market, lunch along the Chao Phrya river, and the Jim Thompson house. The Palace is truly amazing and we were fortunate to arrive there early before the large crowds. Geng has a vast amount of knowledge and is a very passionate tour guide. He takes his client's requests and tailors the entire tour around your wishes and itinerary, unlike other package tours where you simply get what they offer. Geng also made arrangements for a minivan and driver which greatly facilitated our tour group of 3 getting around the city. The driver dropped us very close to the sights, picked us up shortly after we had seen each location, and kept the AC going to cool us off after our walks. Geng coordinated with the boat driver so upon our arrival the at the pier, the boat ride was ready to commence. We had a delicious lunch while overlooking the river and Wat Arun. Geng operates his company with the highest degree of integrity as exemplified by his making a special arrangement made for our boat ride. I highly recommend this tour format and particularly our guide Geng who is a simply outstanding guide.

Nina was fabulous ..full of information about the sites as well as life in Bangkok Excellent way of looking around .. used Sky Rail, Boat , Long boat, taxi, our feet and all went very smoothly Would definitely recommend especially when the traffic is so bad hence difficult to get around efficiently

Prior to USA departure we researched our trip and found many reviews helpful in choosing quality accommodation and sightseeing tours. I purchased the tickets online and I was truly impressed and appreciative of the availability of Ms. Joy Sumonlaya, the Chief of Customer Service Rep. in Bangkok. As I planned the tour, she provided great insight and helped to arrange the tour based on our interest. Via email, she responded to my questions promptly and efficiently. On our arrival at the hotel in Bangkok, there was a message from her reminding us of the tour itinerary with the name of our tour guide. Nice! Mr. Swai our tour guide was flawless in his execution of the tour. We felt fortunate to spend a day with a guide who genuinely loves his country and takes pleasure and pride in sharing the history, culture and his unique perspective with us. He met us at our hotel and at the end of the tour he took us back to our hotel. We went to the major sites. The Bangkok National Museum, Jim Thomson Museum Taling-Chan Floating Market, Wat Pho, Grand Palace, the Summer Palace, Amulet Market and Wat Arun. As often as possible we were introduced to multicultural events including opportunities for us to experience a Thai lunch and to ride most of the public transportation in Bangkok. Sky train- local bus ferry taxis and Tuk Tuk. He listened, answered questions while playing the part of our photographer. This was an amazing experience. Additionally, we never felt rushed because Mr. Swai showed genuine care about our comfort making it easy to take bathroom breaks, to buy water, and just to sit and enjoy our surroundings a few minutes as needed. Thanks Mr. Swai! This was a fantastic tour of the city of Bangkok.memory lives on.

Geng was an amazing tour guide!! He remembered it was our 1 year wedding anniversary and surprised us by taking us to a cool rooftop bar to get a drink. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about Thailand. He managed the tour effectively by keeping us on time but also made sure we were having fun

Our tour with Geng was amazing. We wanted to explore sights less seen in Bangkok, so he took us to an amulet market, a food market, some less-known temples and churches, backstreets, parks and the Portuguese neighborhood, and we ended up in Chinatown. Geng was very informative and engaging, inspiring us and the kids aged 10 and 12 with his stories, jokes and dialogues. He was happy to learn from us about our experiences, and kids were very excited to share. He highlighted nuances that we couldn't have seens, and he had answers for all our questions. We warmly recommend his custom tour, it was a highlight of our stay in Bangkok.

The tour company guide then takes care of all the planning to accomplish your requested itinerary. Prior to the tour we exchanged e-mails to scope out what I wished to see, and the company advised me as to which Palaces were closed for renovation. On the day of the tour, my guide Geng arrived at my hotel ahead of time. We reviewed the day's activities and then set off to see Wat Pho and another temple. Then came the private longboat tour spent cruising a canal in Thonburi. Following that lunch along the river, then off to visit two museums. Geng was very articulate, full of information, and passionate about passing along the history and culture of Bangkok. He efficiently took care of all logistical details for transportation and entrance to the sights. He explained the Sky Train operation so that I could subsequently navigate the system on my own. I very highly recommend this tour.

Geng was the best guide, he spoke perfect English and took/explained to us all of these beautiful places that we wanted to see in only 5hrs30min. If youre on a time crunch and youre ready to speed things up, Geng is the guy that can take you around Bangkok and explain its history! Do keep in mind that the extra costs/fares are on you: tuk tuk, taxi, boats and entry fees to wats/palace. Dont worry, Geng will talk down the prices for the tuk tuk and hail the rides. What we saw included: -Grand Palace and Wat Prakeaw -Wat Arun - Wat Pho - Wat Traimit - Wat Suthat -China Town -Flower market -Giant Swing -Wat Saket -Wat Benchamabophit -Amulet Market

If you truly want to see and experience Thailand not wait in big vans and buses and be herded like cattle from site to site then this explorique private tour is the only way to go. We saw all the usual sights but had a knowledgeable guide to give us historical background and local insight.
